World War II in The Hague

The Hague was strongly affected by the Second World War. German governing bodies were established in the city. Its Jewish inhabitants were persecuted and deported. You will hear and see this moving story.

What's up?

I am city guide Jacqueline Alders. During this guided tour I will tell you about this history. You will learn about the impact of the Nazi occupation on the daily life of The Hague’s citizens. About the fate of its Jewish inhabitants, the amount of damage and the growing shortage of food during the ‘hongerwinter’. An unique opportunity to look at The Hague from a totally different perspective.

I’m sorry, this tour is really fully booked. I’m going to plan another one. If you are interested, send me an email. I will notify you as soon as the date is set. mail@guidethehague.com
